River Apartments - Selfoss

Beautiful and excellent location adjacent to the bridge from main part of Selfoss as well as restaurants and shopping. Hair dryers and bath sheets available. Excellent staff and plenty of activities.

My partner and I stayed at River Apartments for three nights while exploring the Golden Circle. The apartment was not only beautiful but also very comfortable, with a stunning river view. The owner, Kristín, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with useful local information. The apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, and we loved the fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, and the convenience of having a washing machine and dryer. The WiFi worked perfectly, and having private parking was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

What a gem! I had a wonderful stay at River Apartments. The apartment was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a fantastic shower with amazing water pressure. I was able to explore the Golden Circle and Vik easily from the convenient location. Kristin, the host, was great, providing great recommendations and even alerting me to the appearance of the Northern Lights. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic stay.

The decoration in River Apartments was absolutely charming, reminiscent of a cozy countryside cottage. The common areas were tastefully furnished, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I felt comfortable and safe navigating through the hotel's well-lit hallways and spacious rooms.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to have more attentive staff around. It would have been nice to have a few more helping hands around, especially for senior guests like myself who may require some extra assistance during their vacation.

river apartment was even better than our previous stay in selfoss. the well-equipped, clean and comfortable apartment exceeded our expectations. the host was friendly and provided helpful recommendations. the location gave us a beautiful view of the city and river.

Dryer was out of order.

It had such a cool vibe and plenty of space for me and my friends. Plus, being right next to a golf course was wicked. The host was so chill and made us feel right at home. Cons: The only thing we wished for was a common area where we could hang out with other young party-goers. Otherwise, it was epic!

Cute place with a nice garden view! I loved the free WiFi, perfect for posting selfies. The hiking nearby was an unexpected workout, but hey, it's good for the figure.
